The Institute 

The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The role

The internship student joining the CRG will carry out support tasks of the Engineering Department for all the facilities available at the CRG in the PRBB building and in the CNAG.

The main tasks will be: 

  • Update general plans of the CRG and the CNAG.
  • Elaborate plans and other documents to support the implementation of the facilities of the CRG and the CNAG. This means the update of equipment, furniture, electrical diagrams, alarm system, etc.
  • Collaborate with the elaboration of the documents required to carry out internal construction works as well as the management of the plans and other documents like as-built works final documents.

Depending on the development of the candidate, other tasks of an accounting nature could be performed.

Who would we like to hire 

Must Have

·         You have advanced knowledge of AutoCAD

Education and training 

·         You are currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar  


·         You are fluent in Spanish and/or Catalan

·         You have upper-intermediate/high level of English


·         You are detail oriented

·         You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         You are highly motivated and eager to learn

The Offer  

  • Duration: Minimum 6 months’ internship through a university agreement. Possible to cover the full length of the studies in course.
  • Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day
  • Starting date: As soon as possible
  • Paid internship
