The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The CRG is composed by an interdisciplinary, motivated and creative scientific team which is supported both by a flexible and efficient administration and by high-end and innovative technologies.

At the dynamics of living systems groups we are looking for a new team member who will employ CRISPR, primarily in C. elegans, to develop synthetic biology tools that enable precision longitudinal studies of aging.
The candidate should be interested in developing new molecular tools for studying complex systems.
About the lab
The Dynamics of Living Systems group is an interdisciplinary team based in CRG’s systems biology program. Lab members combine molecular genetics, engineering, ‘omics, and statistical physics approaches to measure and model the physiologic dynamics of aging.
Whom would we like to hire?
• You have three years laboratory experience, working with C. elegans
Education and training
• You hold a Master in a life sciences discipline
• You are fluent in English
• You have practical experience with CRISPR, evidenced by a publication
• You have highly developed organization skills
• You have the ability to work in a team

The Offer – Working Conditions
• Contract duration: 1 year.
• Estimated annual gross salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and consistent with our pay scales.
• Target start date: April 1, 2021.
